The Home Visiting Evidence of Effectiveness review of SafeCare, found at https://web.archive.org/web/20170125091604/https://homvee.acf.hhs.gov/Effects/1/SafeCare/18/Reductions-in-Child-Maltreatment/4/4/, determined that SafeCare and the SafeCare Augmented adaptation had favorable effects in the areas of linkages and referrals, reductions of child maltreatment, child development and school readiness, positive parenting practices, and maternal health.
