The Navajo Nation Growing in Beauty Program adapts the Parents as Teachers (PAT) model, using cultural enhancements such Native language and customs and Native resource connections for family well-being to promote resilience.

The Navajo Nation Growing in Beauty Program's goals include: "(1) Increasing access to home visiting services in the target area by implementing the Parents as Teachers Home Visiting Model to improve child development and school readiness, thus increasing resiliency. (2) Increasing the number of resilient families in the target area by increasing the utilization of early childhood, general health, mental health and other social services. (3) Increasing the integration of progressive cultural enhancements into the home visiting services during group connections and personal visits, cultural enhancements through inclusion of Native language and customs, and Native resource connections for family well-being."
